Hummingbird Feeding Tips

Placement

Hang the feeder in partial shade near flowers and within view of a window. With eight ports, it works well in yards with several hummingbirds.

Nectar

Mix one part white sugar to four parts water. Red dye is not needed; the red base already attracts hummingbirds.

Cleaning

Change nectar every few days, and more often in hot weather. Separate the bottle and base and rinse both with warm water at every refill.
