Finch Feeding Tips

Fresh Seed

Finches avoid stale Nyjer. Buy seed in amounts you will use within a few weeks and store it sealed.

Placement

Hang the feeder in a sunny, open spot near shrubs. Finches often feed in flocks, so give them room.

Cleaning

Shake out clumped or damp seed and clean the mesh every couple of weeks, especially after rain.
