Baffle Installation Tips

Height

Mount the baffle so its bottom edge is at least 4 to 5 feet above the ground, which is beyond the reach of most raccoons and squirrels.

Distance

Place the pole at least 8 to 10 feet from trees, fences, decks and roofs so squirrels cannot leap past the baffle.

Check the Fit

Make sure the baffle sits level and secure on the pole, and recheck it after storms or heavy winds.
