Wren House Tips

Placement

Hang the house 5 to 10 feet high near shrubs or small trees. Wrens are comfortable with a hanging, gently swaying home.

Timing

Put the house up in early spring, before wrens return from migration.

Cleaning

Open the rear door after the young fledge and remove the old nest so the house is ready for the next brood.
